Intro
The Ultra line is Hagan's lightest and includes the 65 mm race model. The 89 is the widest, and has the same geometry as the Core Carbon 89 and the Lite version, using different materials. Here carbon laminate wraps a core made from lightweight, responsive carob (like the Core Carbon Lite), as opposed to poplar. The difference lies in the tip and tail rocker, losing a few mm compared to the Core models, which are more evenly balanced between the ascent and descent, whereas the Ultra is more oriented to the former.
