Intro
ATK's top-of-the-range classic touring binding combines the best technology from the Italian brand, starting with the new automatic Evo brake. Not an insignificant development considering that only the Raider and Freeraider models, the top freetouring bindings, use it. Just rotate the tower and push the brake down. Easy as pie with precise mechanisms and no resistance. The toe piece hasn't changed, it has one wing with two springs, and one without, machined with almost maniacal precision. The heel unit uses the Cam Release System.
Fit
The RT 10 Evo combines the convenience of a full optional binding with lightweight practicality, for classic and modern touring. The pins are easy to align and equally easy to click into place, especially (though not only) with certified Dynafit inserts. The Cam Release System helps to click the heel into ski mode, even on soft snow and with high release settings. On the downhill you can feel the solidity of the whole binding, not just the heel unit, where the ATK system prevents lateral rotation and torsion. The heel track is buffered by a spring for increased elasticity. Above this model there's just the Raider 13 Evo, which is even more flexible and has dual adjustable release settings both in the toe and heel piece. The new automatic brake is easier to use with gloves, you won't miss the old push-button version.
