    Intro
Part of the Austrian brand's all-mountain touring collection, this ski comes in waist widths of 84, 89 and 92 mm. The Lite version weighs less than the Core Carbon (by about 100 g for this model) because it uses a different core wood (carob in place of the heavier poplar) paired with the carbon-fiber edges on both models.

    On the snow
This ski surprised us in testing and was a favorite among ski instructors, alpine guides and their clients. In its favor is the increasingly on-trend 89 mm width, paired with the 170 length of our test model. We keep saying it, but this is a perfect combination for this segment. And the result? A ski with the right weight, despite the lighter wood and the use of carbon fiber, it's smooth, predictable, fun, but never too hard to ride, as well as reassuring and balanced, even for those who are, let's say, less "balanced" in their skills. Neutral when it needs to be, such as in changing snow conditions or to handle crust without too much effort, it can be lively when you give it the gas, but without wearing you out. And if you're feeling defensive, it goes with you and allows for the odd sideslip. It loves powder. It's stable and stays in contact with the snow (being more rigid than soft) when the going gets rough. It enters turns and transitions without effort and is a versatile ski that can change speeds and turn radius. What else can you ask for?

    Lab
Concave throughout the ski, deep at tip and tail. Worn structure, no wax. Decent edges 1.5 x 1.5 mm at 90°, base edge 1.5°. Still a bit too much edge at tip and tail, although a bit has been removed. Needs tuning and wax.
