Intro
The lightest boot in the entire Atomic collection, with race-ready features and weight. Though not expressly marketed for racing by the brand, it's to all intents and purposes a hybrid model that also works for intermediate skiers in competitions, and lets you take on faster, more technical tours with speedy transitions and bootpacking sections. All this with the Austrian brand's propensity for comfort (insofar as that's possible with a ski boot), starting with a fit that aids walkability.
Walking
Its classic Atomic skimo fit, with lots of room around the toes, feels comfortable and natural in walk mode, thanks to the extra width around the metatarsal bones and the instep held firmly in place. It feels good whether hiking or skinning. The cuff rotation is that of a race boot, with zero friction. The rockered sole also helps to provide a fast, natural stride.
Lab
Entrata e regolazioni facili per la categoria e a maggior ragione per un utilizzo anche saltuario race oriented. The one touch Free Lock 3.5 ski/walk mechanism is quick and easy to use. Initially it can take a little while to work out how to lock it, but you just need to move the cuff forward with your shin and it clicks into place. The liner is sturdier than previous iterations (which were basically just socks) and there's a Velcro composite insert in the tongue for support.
Skiing

There's not much in the way of frontal support so it tends to collapse a little before finding what there is of it.
