Intro
A ski that is often spied in the lift line at the Aiguille du Midi or on the skin track in the western Alps. The French know just how to build a touring ski aimed at intermediate-to-advanced skiers. The pros use this for their everyday ski, regardless of the conditions. It's a faithful companion that doesn't make you question if it’s the right ski for the day. The tried-and-tested, versatile M-Vertical 88 will take you to the wildest of places.
On the snow
For the expert, this ski will give you everything you need. We played with the radius of the turn in all kinds of snow conditions and noticed this model outperforming the others. Responsive and agile when it mattered, it also allowed you to hit the gas as the terrain opened out. A lot of skis in the 88 mm range with larger shovels tend to lack torsional stability, but rigidity in the tip really allows you to have edge control throughout the ski on firm snow. It’s worth noting that this would be a great choice for intermediate skiers who want to try out a pro-level ski, letting you progress without having to switch up your skis as you improve.
