While remaining faithful to the Slovakian brand’s minimalist mission, the Tour is still their most rugged, and fully-featured binding. The toe is practically identical to their other models (with a ski crampon slot), with a brake which is actioned with a small front lever, and a side pin opening mech. It features a different heel (a really nice design, which is hollow in the middle, though this does tend to clog with snow), and a screw adjustment of release values from 6 to 10. There's a slider providing 10 mm of adjustment at the heel and two riser flaps of 34 mm and 57 mm. ‘Less is more’—for lovers of renowned Slovakian engineering... and some real ’blue sky’ innovation.
