Intro
This is the thinnest of Atomic's range for women, like its even lighter sibling, the UL. It has the same construction as the Backland 88, updated and made more eco friendly for this season, unlike its big brothers, the 98 and 107. It's less of an elite ski than the UL, making it suited for the vast base of touring skiers looking for a lightweight ski that will be fun on the descent. We're still convinced that 3 more millimeters make all the difference and that the 88 feels more modern. But it's not a bad thing to have such a wide choice of lightweight skis.
