Intro

This is the heaviest model in the R series, and an ideal choice for skimo racing or ultra-light touring. It has much in common with the R150 (there’s also a 120 version), and the only difference is the heel adjustment slider track with 25 mm range. Staying true to the minimalist philosophy of the Light world, it comes without a brake, but there’s an optional Race Stopper (only for skis up to 68.5 mm wide), which is quickly secured to the toe via two screws. The sturdy design features dual-spring jaws and precision CNC machining. One new feature is the option to also use the Light Stopper (which attaches to the heel unit in place of the plate), as per the Oazo (narrowest size 80 mm). The crampon slot is optional. No frills— for hardcore tourers. As used by Vivian Bruchez.
