Intro

The Tour Professional Ultra line, to which this Ultra 84 belongs, is Hagan's lightest. It includes a 65 race version, along with 79 and 89 mm waist widths. Available in white or red, it has the same geometry as the Core Carbon 84, from the higher-end Tour Allmountain Core line in terms of weight and skiability, but with different materials. Here, the wood sandwiched between the carbon-fiber laminate is carob, instead of poplar. Weighing about 150 grams less, you'll notice the difference in terms of skiability and will also appreciate the energy savings on the ascent.
