Intro
With the addition of the MTN 91 Carbon, it's no longer the mid-range width between its 80 and 96 mm siblings, but it's still a versatile, light(ish) ski — a true all-rounder. It's docile underfoot but won't give out in challenging situations. Like the 91, it's lightweight at the tip, but balanced in its responsiveness. It's a worthy descendant of another Salomon ski that made history in modern-day ski mountaineering: the MTN 88. If you're looking for something similar but softer, take a look at the MTN 86 Pro. And if you're looking to leave fresh tracks in untouched powder, the MTN 91 Carbon might be for you.
