    Intro
This is an all-new line that includes the 100 for men and the 90 for women, both constructed to be fun, versatile skis for both ski mountaineering and freeriding. They feature sustainable construction made from more than 50% recyclable materials, including natural flax-fiber, for flexibility, paired with poplar wood for greater responsiveness. It also had titanal underfoot, but no carbon fiber, a real exception for its class but with a weight that is completely in line with the competition. It sports a squared-off tip, long, accentuated rocker, and reduced sidecut radius or a ski with great handling.

    On the snow
Don't be fooled by the Pure name, which hearkens back to the freeride line designed and developed by Jérémie Heitz. This is Scott's most approachable ski, easy to ride even at very slow speeds, and it may be the brand's first ski to be suited to such a wide range of skiers. You get good snow feel right away, with extremely intuitive turns thanks to the ample rocker and short-radius sidecut. It stays nicely responsive exiting the turn, with no oversteer, and it conveys lots of confidence, especially for skiers who may lack some technique and physical strength. You don't need to be perfect to get the ski to turn, so it gets along great with skiers who just like to cruise. When combined with resort skiing, we recommend a longer ski for greater stability. On both the ascent and the descent, it's not a ski made for extremes, but apart from that it performs admirably.

    Lab
Very concave, not totally fixable after 9 runs through the tuning machine. Only roughened, waxed. Decent edges 1.8 x 1.6 mm at 88.9°, base edge 1.2°. Too much edge at the tail, needs tuning.
