Intro
UP is Kästle's line for intermediate skiers honing their skills, and advanced skiers with a more laid-back approach, but who don't want to sacrifice performance. The idea behind it is to make the backcountry fun and accessible for all, using stiffer types of wood combined with soft, pliant fiberglass. It's slightly heavier than the TX94, which we tested this year, and like all Kästle skis has Hollowtech technology at the tip to dampen vibrations, and a short turn radius.
