Intro

This is the mother of all Atomic’s pin bindings, and twin to the Salomon MTN Summit. It’s a hassle-free model for classic ski touring with practical, user-friendly and above all durable solutions, though at the acceptable price of a few extra grams. Top features include the excellent alignment plate on the toe to help center the boot on the pins, and the brake that can be locked and unlocked using a convenient metal flap—an absolute dream for beginners. The heel unit works on the U-spring principle, but delivers among the most stable in terms of torsion and side play of any with this system. The climbing aids sit on the pins, while for flat mode you just need to rotate the tower 90°. Simple, user friendly and effective.
