Intro
A ski with a decidedly alpine orientation, featuring a modest tip and tail rocker profile and good edge contact. It has a paulownia wood and carbon layup that delivers the right mix of responsiveness and lightness, plus elastomers to reduce chatter and titanal beneath the binding mount point. It's Ideal for long ascents in soft snow and a ski that the less-experienced will find easy to use. If bought on the longer side, it skis well also when carving longer arcs. Holds its own on hardpack, but struggles on steeper terrain. For these missions, something from BD's new Impulse line would be a better candidate, being beefier and more playful.
