Intro
The styling of the heel turret is a throwback to the iconic low tech—the mother of all pin bindings. Also available with a brake as standard (called Radical), it has two nice overlapping heel-riser flaps, which are easily operated with poles. The weight and features clearly establish this as a classic touring binding, boasting a solid structure with double-spring pin jaws at the toe. The two side towers under the pins aid centering all boot inserts. The drop is quite high: although this can be reduced by mounting the toe on a thin plastic shim, it still remains higher than most modern bindings.
