Intro
The Blaze line is about halfway between a pure freeride ski and a skimo ski. It's fairly lightweight, so it can be used to climb, so long as your goal is a fun descent on technical terrain. It sports new graphics, but the substance is unchanged, with its wood and titanal construction and some added elastic material to absorb vibration. The 3D radius sidecut is short at the waist for responsiveness and grip, even on tight turns, and longer at the tip and tail for stability at speed. Blaze comes into its own when worn by a skier with great technique and rhythm. It's also excellent when climbing through difficult terrain.
