Intro

Deep down the Pro, both in the 85 and 90 mm versions, beneath the new graphic and a few minor changes, is our old friend the Ortles, with a new name to distinguish it from the Next, which has been tested in this very Guide, and is only available with 90 mm underfoot. It's a ski for authentic backcountry touring, lightweight to carry you away from the everyday, with Ski Trab's hallmark 14-layer construction including laminates and Liwood Air core that alternates lighter and denser woods. Compared to the Next, the Pro has a carbon fiber sleeve as opposed to basalt fiber.
