Intro

It shares the same shape and geometry as the Ultra 84, but with a different construction that pairs poplar and fiberglass, using carbon to reinforce the tip and tail only. If Hagan recommends the Ultra 84 for 70% ascent and 30% descent, the Carbon 84 is less biased towards the uphill. It carries an extra 150 g in weight, which you can really feel in its downhill performance and the smooth response of the poplar/fiberglass construction. For expert skiers taking on big verticals and committing terrain.
