Intro
Enforcer is the symbol of freeriding at Nordica, a range that's been around for over ten years and continues to evolve. This is especially true over the last two seasons, as it expands into the Tour segment. In addition to the more modern tip and tail geometry, the development team have worked their magic to pack all the capabilities and characteristics of a freeride ski into a truly competitive weight class. The result is a line of extremely versatile skis, the fattest of which is the 104, which combines the mechanical properties of a freeride ski with the weight of a touring ski. Making a break from the previous version, better suited to pure freeride, now these skis can do a whole lot more.
On the snow
This ski has remained unchanged since its launch, a product at the forefront of freetouring on the strength of so many qualities packed into a single ski. It has an intriguing weight-to-power ratio that will satisfy the downhill needs of even the most demanding skiers and allow for long ascents. The balanced geometry of the tip and tail, with just the right amount of rocker, make this an easy, highly maneuverable ski. At the same time, it's solid in high-speed, direct lines down the mountain. It's not a big mountain ski, but it can be used on long climbs followed by alpine lines in true freerider spirit. With its new-school character, its light weight doesn't give it the pop of a true backcountry ski, but you can use it to jib and generally take advantage of all the natural features of sidecountry. With the right length, you can opt for various bindings for a range of objectives.
Lab
Concave across most of the base, not totally fixed after 8 runs through the tuning machine. No structure or wax. Thin edges, 1.4 x 1.3 mm at 89.5°, base edge 1.5°. Not much finish, edge only partly removed at tip and tail.
