Intro
The ARV line represents Armada's vision of North American freeride – new school to the bone. This ski is one of a kind, part of the Zero collection developed by pros for the most demanding freeriders. Weighing an extra 200 g per stick compared to the standard ARV thanks to a generous dose of titanal, this model brooks no compromise in the quest for performance. A one-ski quiver supercharger for ripping lines on all kinds of terrain, able to face down the many obstacles pro riders come across.
On the snow
This ski is the epitome of modern freeride, complete with titanal construction and a super-stiff flex – the latter offset by a new-school shape for reduced edge contact and increased agility when changing speed. Aimed at a younger audience, ideally fresh from the snowpark, not for those coming from alpine skiing. This is a supportive ski that floats well in powder, requiring good technique and plenty of horsepower to withstand the forces created when the ski flexes. Though a little skinny for a big mountain ski, it's the perfect companion for resort laps and endless runs on easy-access descents. Mount with a step-in binding and avoid challenging uphills; this ski is more suited to short bootpacks in search of the right line. An excellent all-rounder, it holds up on hardpack with lively, aggressive edge hold and no unexpected torsion.
