Intro
The intent and approach are exactly the same as those behind the Backland 101 W, with a few extra mm underfoot for better float in fresh pow. The ultralight poplar/carob core makes it nice and agile, just like its narrower sibling. It's fun and intuitive on the downhill, thanks to the deep rocker at tip and tail. Considering how nimble it is, you could risk a longer length, but the shorter lengths do just great. An excellent ski for fun, fast and playful descents in powder. No need for super strong legs.
