Intro
The ZX series is the crossover between the TX, for touring, and the FX, for pure freeride. It has the solidity and skiability you need for mainly downhill use, but it's made somewhat lighter by an intermediate structure that keeps its weight below two kilos. As a result, it's mainly for resort skiing, with a TR1, Shift, Kingpin or similar binding, to take advantage of its light weight for short or mid-range transfers. It's classic style, with a flat, squared-off tail, in contrast with its moderate rocker at the tip.
