    Intro
Dynastar's M line comprises three series of skis: M-Tour, M-Free, and M-Pro (for big mountain skiing). The main differences between the M-Free and the M-Pro lie in the titanal frame and the shape of the rocker, which provide a different feel for different skiing goals. They share the same hybrid core made of poplar wood and polyurethane, an innovation for the French brand in search of the right combination of power, progression and flex. The (noticeably) rigid camber and weight, along with the rocker and tapered tip and tail, lend themselves to pure freeride without compromising on weight and performance.

    On the snow
You get an immediate feeling of solidity and contact with the terrain. The rigid construction conveys is downhill nature. Not the right ski for pin bindings. Calls for more robust bindings that can better transfer the power that these skis require. At over two kilos, you'll need a good reason to take them on a climb, like for an alpine run to be taken on in full big-mountain style. After all, that's the style it's best suited for even when resort skiing. Fast on any terrain, it holds its own on crust or on choppy terrain. It easily handles and buffers rough snow, cliff landings, or big-air jumps. The rocker at the tip and tail isn't designed for jibbing, but rather to soften its aggressive nature at slower speeds or in situations that call for greater agility and handling. It's not a ski for the faint of heart and is intended for skiers with a lot of talent.
