If you watch Sammy Carlson ski, you'll get how his pro ski performs. It's a twin-tip for powder, and for a natural, relaxed ski — almost like surfing — but with sudden injections of power. Its tip and tail rocker facilitate the start of the turn and transition, but the general idea is all about stability, even on exposed, steep slopes. But the weight is intended for a bit more climbing. The carob-wood core gives the ski its pop. The important thing is to be following in Sammy Carlson's tracks.
