Intro
The widest ski in the iconic Wayback series dedicated to pure touring has an ultralight construction with paulownia core reinforced with titanal around the mounting point and layers of unidirectional carbon fiber to increase torsional rigidity. Its low weight sees it destined for big verticals on soft terrain. It holds up everywhere but you'll need to dial back the speed a little on hardpack, while it makes light work of setting tracks in freshly fallen snow. Its medium flex is suited to a wide range of skiers, even those with less experience, though more demanding pro riders may not be completely satisfied by its downhill performance.
