Intro
The Polish ski maker's freeride touring line includes four models, of which the Supernova Carbon, with a width of between 100 and 105 mm depending on the length, is the fattest. With an ultralight construction in paulownia wrapped in multiple layers of carbon and a carbon/kevlar blend, it has a single turn radius, unlike the freeride models. The semi-hybrid shape has an early-rise rocker at the tip, flat tail and classic camber at the waist. This is no resort ski, mount a pin binding to clock up impressive amounts of vertical, ideally on soft snow, though it more than holds up on hardpack and uneven terrain.
