Intro
The Magna is the only one not to have adopted the BOA, keeping the four buckles that give it a decidedly resort feel. Available in two versions, with a flex of 120 or 130, as well as a 105 women's model.

Walking
Entry is super easy, even for those who have never worn a ski boot in their life. There's lots of toe room, lots of room in general in fact, ideal for skiers who can never find a boot wide enough to fit them. The range of motion is excellent, better than the Prime, especially to the aft and it follows the movement of the calf without friction in the plastics. This is one burly, hefty boot, suited to first outings on the skin track, freetouring initiation and technical improvement off-piste.

Lab
Three forward lean settings: 13°, 15° (default) and 17°, with optional spoiler to pad out the back of the liner. The footbed is better than the Prime, but too flat for flat feet.

Skiing
The super comfy fit makes it nice and toasty—enough to cope with riding the lifts on freezing winter days. The flex is more generous than those of its closest, more powerful siblings, and it's only right that the more comfortable model is also the more forgiving. It's suited to solid intermediates not looking to push their equipment to the limit. Powerful enough to control fat skis, it's nice and responsive on medium turns, more sluggish on tight ones.
