Intro
Dynafit's top-of-the-range race binding, where each and every gram has been accounted for. A hymn to simplicity, with an empty heel piece and use of carbon fiber components to make it light and durable. The + version comes with brake that doubles as a climbing aid. It has everything you need and nothing more when you're up against the clock and a steep vertical.
Fit
A solid yet lightweight carbon toe piece with wide single-spring wings and a stiff, precise lever. It works smoothly for speedy race transitions, better still with the Dynafit race setup. The heel housing is made from carbon fiber with a steel U-Spring. The icing on the cake is the brake that doubles as a climbing aid. It initially takes a little getting used to as the brake plate, when flipped up as a climbing aid, knocks against the pins; to engage ski mode there's a spring to flip it back. A super-easy maneuver even one-handed during a race; it becomes second nature. Keep an eye on the wear and tear of the spring over time, but in the world of racing every little counts to shave off the seconds and equipment maintenance is just part of the game.
