Intro
Dynafit's top-of-the-line race ski has a new graphic, but otherwise remains largely unchanged. The tip is a little narrower compared to the DNA, which is also available in a 153 cm model, whereas the Pro is only available in 162 cm. The turn radius is also 3 meters wider. All details that add up to an altogether different ski. The DNA Pro is very much an elite model for high-placing athletes.
On the snow
Fast and furious. If you're looking for a ski to charge towards the podium, this is one of your best options. This model is all about straight lines, fast, wide turns, and backcountry terrain—all situations where its stability plays a key role. The DNA Pro feels like a big mountain ski disguised as a race model. Turn initiation isn't easy, it takes fit, well-trained podium-placing athletes, good technique and decisive handling. This is a stiff ski at home on hard snow, though it produces a little chatter on icy terrain, where it feels shorter than it actually is. The Pro is undaunted by different types of snow, though powder isn't its strong suit. Suited to the Patrouille or Mezzalama, less so the Pierra Menta, due to the tree runs and narrower terrain. Make no mistake, this is a ski for elite athletes only, for those further down the results table Dynafit has other options.
