Intro
When the subject of splitboard boots comes up, you immediately think of the Jones MTB. It's been updated for 2025 with a higher gaiter and redesigned Walk Mode Collar.
On the snow
At first glance, you would think there is little to no difference between this and the 2023/24 version. But as soon as you put it on, you can feel the excellent support provided by the injection-molded Elite Liner, with a softer flex than previous iterations, making it more comfortable when hiking and traversing. A redesigned Walk Mode Collar aids a longer stride while keeping the double BOA firmly closed. The 3D molded tongue lets you add two Recoil Flex Control inserts for added support, so you can tailor its response on the downhill exactly as you want it. The durable Vibram Outsole provides excellent traction, and is compatible with semi-automatic crampons, making this boot the complete package. Weight and volume are pretty much unchanged compared to the previous version.
