Intro
An all-rounder from Plum. Compared to the Feyan, this model has an injection-molded plastic highback, also suited to use on-piste with a classic board.
On the snow
The Eterlou is designed for intermediate–advanced riders looking for a comfortable, versatile binding that's not too stiff, for a surfy feel where comfort takes precedence over performance. Like the other Plum models, the locking mechanism of the aluminum 7057 baseplate requires a certain dexterity, but once fixed in place it's solid and robust. It's fairly precise, easily adapting to all kinds of terrain, even if it does less well on icy traverses compared to models with carbon inserts. The ratchet buckles are excellent quality. As with other Plum models, the double heel riser isn't integrated and should be mounted directly on the board. The weight is below average for the category, and on the whole it's a good option for everyday use for easygoing riders.
