Intro
It’s designed to allow you to hunt out any line: powder, firm snow, natural pillows... no terrain is too challenging. This handcrafted board has a 100% poplar and paulownia core with double layer of quadraxial fiberglass, which together confer lightness and responsiveness to a product created to be the most versatile in this French manufacturer’s lineup. It retains the original Plum hardware, which effectively transmits energy through to the boards two joined halves.
On the snow
The shape suggests this is a board with a very aggressive character: and make no mistake, that’s exactly what it is. However, the materials used in the build also make this board very maneuverable and fun. The elongated nose placed after the not overly pronounced camber makes it fun to turn at low speeds, but ramp up the speed and it responds immediately. The feel of stance and balance are both excellent, and this is a board that’s fun even riding switch. It’s suitable for beginner through to advanced riders, and for those seeking a reliable board to support them as they progress technically that’s also playful. One advantage of the layup is its mix of poplar and paulownia, bonded using epoxy resin. Together, this confers high impact resistance (which on paper means durability), as well as enhanced responsiveness.
