This skin features a much lighter plush to cut down weight. So perhaps you’re wondering: why couldn't I use it in normal races too, as indeed many do? The answer is because the backing is much (much!) less rigid, meaning there's a high risk it will stick longitudinally glue-on-glue, which can make them also impossible to separate—a risk not present in vertical races where there are no transitions. Today’s Pomoca Race range offers a selection much like the waxes available to cross-country skier's.
