From age 6 to 18 he competed in every alpine ski discipline, with a natural flair for downhill, before trying his hand at some freeride competitions. He soon left the competition circuit behind, though, realizing it stopped him from living the mountains the way he truly wanted. A passionate freerider and steep skier, he's always sought out new lines alone and on sight, without first ascending them: he’s inspired by adventure, the unexpected and the unknown. For years he has also practiced highlining on lines stretched between major peaks in the Dolomites. Today, he devotes half his time to working with children in both summer and winter. And his goal? To share his passions, teach people to ski adventurous terrain, and discover the value of the profound yet simple things the mountains have to offer.
