Matteo Calcamuggi, or "Teo Calca" to his friends, learned to ski at the age of three and became a ski instructor at the age of 20. But he was quick to realize that groomers weren't for him. So it was that he became an alpine guide and, just for laughs, got a degree in Architecture. After all, you need to follow you passions in life. For the guide, we asked him to help out with our reviews of touring boots, but he also took a lot at a few skis along the way.
