Intro

New for 23-24, this is for everyone looking for a fixed-length, aluminum pole with all that Ski Trab quality. The 16 millimeter shaft gives sturdy support under demanding conditions and, unlike the Ortles Alu, the basket is truncated on one side to facilitate traverses and other counter slopes. The grip is interesting, with a small bit made of hard, molded rubber, like with their alpine models, followed by foam that extends into the elongated grip zone. The strap widens and becomes padded where it wraps around the hand. This is a balanced, lightweight and efficient pole that proves you don't necessarily need carbon fiber.
