Intro

The 40 cm of round foam grip extensions are also common to the fixed length model, as is the pure freeride-style rubber head. The thin webbing of the wrist strap is rather minimalist and adjustment buckles are equally minimal—we’d say perhaps a little too minimal. The choice of basket is also a bit minimalist: it’s the tilting type, but only 70 mm in diameter— really the bare minimum you’d want on hard, icy snow. On the plus side, balance is excellent: even in this adjustable version swing weight feels more like a carbon pole.
