Intro

This is the only aluminum and length-adjustable pole made by this Swedish company famed for its bamboo models. Production began just a year ago, following a successful Kickstarter campaign aimed at creating a circular economy for aluminum. In hallmark Kang style, the design is both elegant and functional, featuring a 38 cm grip extension—identical to that of their Bamboo Freeride—that wraps around the pole’s upper section and has a generous 22 mm diameter. The tip is in aluminum and not tungsten carbide, so not suitable for technical backcountry use.
