Everything about this pole speaks of inbounds resort skiing, from the 100% Alpine contoured grip, the rugged aluminum shafts, the relatively short tip beneath the basket and the minimalist (60 mm) dimensions of the substitute basket. The only concession to backcountry skinning is the 20 cm rubber grip extension under the handle. But the name Faction’s written in big, bold letters and the color is killer. Ideal also for ski instructors.
