    In words

    Intro
    Atomic's offering for racing or other speed outings features a triangular, cork grip with quick-release ("release" being the operative word: putting it back in is a bit less quick) ergonomic wrist strap. The carbon shaft (with a good swing weight for competitive use) is reinforced by a reddish anodized aluminum coating on the lower section where the pole is most exposed to impact and scratches. The basket is easy to remove using the other pole in order to replace it with a different-sized basket of similar design.
