Intro
A more touring-oriented version than its Freeride sibling, weighing a few grams less and offering greater capacity. More space in the interior, despite losing some internal pockets, and access to the main compartment is improved courtesy of the longer zipper openings. As is the norm, the self-rescue gear compartment is well-positioned on the front. Airbag activation is always swift and simple, as is the entire backpack operation. We particularly like the simplicity of the airbag stowing and deflation system—a detail that’s not always a given. Features a helmet holder, ice axe holder and vertical ski holder, all well-incorporated into the sturdy Cordura material. The V-shaped compression straps are nice and functional. The back panel is compatible with all Avabag Litric Freeride and Tour attachment systems. It may be less sophisticated than the Freeride, but is more practical and spacious.
