Intro
The Alpinist 12-point crampon is available in two versions: the semi-automatic Combi and the automatic Pro. Of all the 12-pointers tested, we liked this one the best. The anti-balling plates are very effective and the ankle strap is quick and easy to adjust. It did well overall when we tested it on different surfaces, from ice to snow and rock. A year-round crampon.
