Intro

The Blue Ice axe for technical mountaineering/steep touring is light and well made. The curved handle is just right for travel on snowy couloirs and technical mixed (though not extreme) terrain. The head feels comfortable to hold and the blade and adze are well made, as is the sliding hand rest that moves all along the shaft. Simple and practical.
