It’s about style, people!
A small suggestion not to be taken as a lesson

Skiing well means taking care of each and every turn. It means respecting yourself and respecting the mountains. It’s not for everyone, but giving it this sort of honest try is something we all can do.
It’s also about picking the right clothing (Come on, it’s time to retire that stuff you’ve been wearing for ten years!), the right pack, and the right helmet for the descent (You’re gonna be going fast, and there’ll be rocks hiding beneath the snow). It’s about making the effort to carry an avalanche pack despite the increased weight. It’s about studying snow conditions, the weather, and avalanche risk before your outing. And it’s about respecting the environment when you’re on the mountain. All of this contributes to a culture of ski mountaineering that benefits us all. And of course, give the people you meet along the way a wave and a smile. But this isn’t intended to be a lecture by the morality police. It’s just a friendly suggestion for each of us to do our small part.
